Adam Parkes (born 30 November 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Plymouth Parkway, on loan from EFL Championship club Plymouth Argyle.
Club career
editParkes joined Southampton's academy aged 10, before joining Watford in 2019.
On 4 January 2020, Parkes appeared as part of Watford's first team squad for the first time, as an unused substitute in a 3–3 FA Cup draw against Tranmere Rovers. On 1 February 2020, he joined National League South side Havant & Waterlooville on loan until the end of the season.[2]
For the 20–21 season, Parkes appeared as an unused sub for Watford a further eight times, before joining National League side Barnet on loan in May 2021, making eight appearances.
On 23 July 2021, Parkes joined Dover Athletic on loan, and went on to play 22 games in the National League for the Kent-based side, before being released by Watford in 2022.[3]
Parkes signed a one-year contract with Plymouth Argyle on 6 October 2022, before being sent out on loan to Plymouth Parkway of the Southern League Premier Division South a week later, on a deal that would run until January 2023.[4][5]
