Early and Current Life

Growing up in Independence Missouri, Wesley's family didn't have a lot of money. He grew up in a trailer park filled with violence and crime. Due to his trailer catching on fire, Wesley and his family had to move in with his grandma. (Who also lives in Independence, MO) While he was living in this house, he started kindergarten. His first school was William Southern, home to the bull dogs. He made little to no friends in the short period of going there and ended up moving schools after winter break. He moved to another school named Blackburn Elementary, home to the bobcats. That is the only other elementary school he ended up going to. Here at Blackburn, he met his lifelong friend Anthony Ulberg. They met in the few weeks of him being there and became friends. They were both new kids because Anthony also transferred schools, he arrived at Blackburn earlier than Wesley. He also started his football career in kindergarten also. He played for the BSAA team, the Panthers. They went 6-3 at he end of the season. Wesley was a running back and scored 17 touchdowns that season. Anyways, he transferred from the Panthers to the Bombers, staying there for two years. Their ending records were 5-4 and 7-2. Then something strange happened. His dad wanted to make his own football team. He ended up making the prominent BSAA Monsters. The team was active for four years. Their records were 11-1, 12-0, 11-1,and 12-1. This team was truly good, they had talent. They won the Superbowl on there undefeated year of 12-0 against his former team, the Bombers. The final score was 28-14. (Fun fact, they made it to the Superbowl every year but only won one. Not bad.) The team ended in 7th grade due to Wesley playing football for his middle school. Speaking of middle school, Wesley went to Bridger JH in sixth grade. He described the year in an interview as, "Tough and desirable to leave". It seemed as if most of the people who is in his district really hated sixth grade. Wesley then moved on to a new middle school in seventh grade called Pioneer Ridge Middle School, home to the Explorers and Patriots (They changed to patriots in Wesley's eighth grade year.). His football team didn't do too good his first year, they were 2-6. In eighth grade they redeemed at 6-2. They traded numbers. Although he didn't play his eighth grade year, he was still proud of his team for redeeming themselves. His eighth grade year was still terrible, it marked the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. His track season was cut off on March 19, 2020. A day that will live in infamy. Wesley only did one thing during the quarantine, play video games. He gamed all day and everyday grinding on his favorite games. It wasn't until June 15, 2020 that Wesley started going to the Truman Football Camp. He was officially in high school. The school he was going to is his current school, Truman High School, home to the Patriots. But it wasn't until July 23, 2020 that Wesley decided to start making music. He went by Rainman at the start of him writing music. He didn't release his first song until November 12, 2020 due to setbacks because of his education. The song was named VRain. It was about him growing up and his experiences in the trailer park he used to live in. He referenced to a v-neck throughout the song and how he wore them all the time. Since his name was Rainman and there was a v-neck, combine them together and you get VRain. Around the same time Rainman thought his name was really catchy enough and thought his song name VRain would make a great artist name and it's catchy. On December 4, 2020 along with his released of his single, District Zer0 is when Rainman went to VRain (His current name). VRain is one of the newer rappers of his time. In an interview he said, "I don't know how to feel. I'm really excited though. I can now return the favor of taking care of my family. I also want to take care of my friends as well. I take all inspiration from Logic. Aka the best rapper of our generation. Love you Bobby." VRain wishes he can get in contact with Logic and possibly do a song with him. But he says it's going to be harder now that he is retired. VRain also plans on coming out with another album in 2024. People are assuming that it will be about him graduating since he is graduating high school in 2024. He revealed the name of the album being, Forever Free: Grad Year. It will be pretty obvious what it will be about. He also revealed some of the song names. One of them is called, Loyal. It was played in the background of one of his reveal trailers of the album.
