Template:Infobox Parliament of Azerbaijan Aydin Boyukishi oglu Mirzezade (Template:Lang-az, born 22 July 1957) is the current Deputy of Azerbaijan. He also functions as the membership of the Political Council of the “New Azerbaijan Party” New Azerbaijan Party.

Biography

Aydin Mirzezade was born on July 2, 1957 in the town of Mingachevir.

He finished high school No 10 in 1974. 1974-75 worked as Secretary of the Komsomol Committee of the high school No 13. In 1975 entered the Azerbaijan Civil Engineering Institute, Construction faculty, Division of Industrial and Civil Construction. He graduated from the Institute in 1985 and acquired a profession of civil engineer.

He was Faculty Komsomol Committee Secretary as well as member of the Institute Komsomol Committee during his study in the Institute. He took active part in the student-engineers movement.

In 1980 worked as construction master of the mobile mechanized division of No 1315 located in Rjev town of Tver oblast of the USSR.

He had military service during 1980-82. His name was included into the Book of Honor upon successful fulfillment of military service.

Since 1982 Manager of the Youth HQ and Head of political awareness cabinet at the Azerbaijan DRES construction in Mingechevir; since 1992 correspondent at “Sada” newspaper, Department Manager at Mingechevir Assembling Office; since 1993 assistant, and Deputy Head of Mingechevir Town Executive Government; between the years of 1997-2000 Sector Manager of the social and political department of the Presidential Executive office of the Republic of Azerbaijan.


He took part in the establishment of the “New Azerbaijan” Party Minghachevir branch and leaded it during 1992-99. He was elected to the membership of the Political Council of the “New Azerbaijan” Party at the New Azerbaijan Party I (1999), II (2001) and III (2005) Congresses.

Was elected to a second Milli Mejlis term of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He is currently member of the Milli Mejlis elected from Mingechevir Constituency No 47 and Deputy Chairman of the Security and Defense Committee of the Parliament.

Aydin Mirzazade being active politician in the country is known as political analyzer and political scientist as well. The opposition considers him one of the ideologists of the ruling party.

He is open to mass media. Open for criticism and observes rules of polemics.

Gives lessons on socio-political subjects. His books are used as textbooks.

Conducts broad research in political sciences. Some principles drawn by him caused interest. The following thoughts by Aydin Mirzazade are perceived as scientific ones:

“When Azerbaijan is mentioned Heydar Aliyev is understood”

“The small country has to has big policy”

“The strong opposition can only exist in the country with weak power. Strength of both of them is undesirable. It can bring the country to the pat situation”.

“In the country with strong power, the opposition should be effective”

“The dialog can never replace the state authority”

“The army can only be loved”

“Azerbaijan should be there where its interests are strongly protected”

“The format applied in the settlement of any conflict can not serve as absolute precedent for the others”

“The equality means equal conditions but not equal opportunities. Everybody should be granted with equal conditions. Each person chooses its own way. Those persons to some extent positively benefitted from favorable conditions should not forget about social justice”

Hobby: reading, collection of paintings, medals of soviet period including foreign country coins.
