I've made myself a wikipedia account because I believe strongly in the ideals behind Wikipedia, and want to help contribute to its factual accuracy and NPOV. I'm not here to push my ideals or beliefs, and I'm generally good at holding back my personal opinion when contributing to things IRL, so we'll see how I can do on wikipedia. My two big concerns are looking out for overcompensating in regards to NPOV, and I think I'll have some trouble with the whole "Be Bold" principle.
