Welcome! I'm a physics student living in the north-east United States. I am most interested in theoretical physics and related mathematical pursuits. Computer science, programming, and system work serve for fun and profit. For example, I play with Gentoo Linux and use it as my main operating system. These skills have landed me seasonal internships at my state Department of Environmental Protection: an ideal job, since I also love hiking, wildlife, and nature in general!
Most of my edits have been trivial typo fixes or minor improvements. As time and energy permit, this might expand.
I thoroughly enjoy just surfing through Wikipedia, following interesting links. Paraphrasing a favorite author:
There is only one Road; it is like a great river: its springs are at every doorstep, and every path is its tributary. You step into the Road, and if you don't keep your feet, there is no knowing where you might be swept off to.
Wikipedia is also invaluable as a general quick-reference. Konqueror web shortcuts make this particularly convenient. It has a long way to go, though. In particular, its (very broad scope) and (desire for uniformity) sometimes collide relativistically.
