About me
[edit]I'm a software engineer with a background in data engineering — most of my day-to-day work involves Python, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. Outside of that, I spend a lot of my time on competitive programming, security research, and self-hosted infrastructure projects. I've been recognized for responsible disclosure of security vulnerabilities, and I enjoy reverse engineering and understanding how systems work under the hood, both for the intellectual challenge and to help make them safer.
I came to Wikipedia editing somewhat organically: I'd frequently notice small factual errors, outdated infobox details, or missing citations on articles I was reading, and started fixing them rather than just noting them and moving on. That's grown into a habit of watching a handful of topic areas closely and keeping them accurate and current.

Editing focus
[edit]- Fixing factual errors, typos, and outdated information in biographical and current-affairs articles
- Improving citation quality — finding primary sources, verifying claims, and replacing weak secondary sources where possible
- Adding or correcting succession/office information in politician and government-official infoboxes
- Keeping fast-moving political articles (cabinet reshuffles, ministerial appointments, portfolio changes) up to date as news develops
- General copyediting and cleanup of duplicated or awkward phrasing
How I approach editing
[edit]I try to be careful rather than fast — verifying a fact against a primary source before changing it, and flagging uncertain claims rather than deleting them outright. I'm particularly interested in the sourcing quality of Indian political articles, where breaking-news citations sometimes get updated or superseded shortly after publication, and infoboxes can lag behind actual events.
