Veikko Valli is an entrepreneur and Honorary Consul for Finland in Oregon. Mr. Valli has a M. Sc. in finance from the Hanken School of Economics in Finland (2002) and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). He works as Chief Investment Officer for Snowstorm Capital, LLC utilizing quantitative and fundamental analysis with 'big data' to forecast quarterly earnings surprises of certain European companies.
Mr. Valli has worked at investment banks and institutional investors in Helsinki, San Francisco and London.
During his studies he was president of the National Union of University Students in Finland (SYL) in 1999.
Mr. Valli has served as Honorary Consul for Finland with jurisdiction over Oregon since 2021 and is a resident of Portland since 2016.
