OVERVIEW:
Vibrolush, aka James Mazlen and Phil Vassil were signed to EMI Music Publishing and Interscope Records and released their self-titled debut LP "Vibrolush" in 1996.[1] Their first single "Bridge Over Me was featured on the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards.
Subsequently, in 2000, they released their second LP entitled "Touch and Go" on V2 records.[2] Their lead off single "Touch and Go" reached the top 40 on the Billboard Alternative Rock charts. [3]
In 2013, Mazlen and Vassil are back with a new release. Their current single entitled "Bombs Away" is influenced by the likes of MGMT, Smashing Pumpkins and LCD Soundsystem. "Bombs Away" is self-produced and is mixed by Claudius Mittendorfer, (Muse, Franz Ferdinand, Artic Monkeys and Interpol).
