St Bernadette Catholic Secondary School, Bristol ... St Bernadette Catholic secondary school is a V.A school within the unitary authority of Bristol. It is located in Fossedale Avenue in the Whitchurch area of the city. Currently, the school's uniform consists of a black jumper with logo, a black, yellow and white striped tie, with a white shirt and blakc trousers. Unlike most local schools, it does not have it's own sixth form but is closely linked with the St. Brendan's Sixth Form College . There are 748 pupils on role [1] there. In it's most recent inspection it received a satisfactory rating, the same as in the inspection previous to it. Applications to the school, in particular from certain feeder schools, have fallen sharply in the last few years due to the fact it has been labeled as a coasting school. Recently it's has benefited from the government's building schools for the future program, with extensive building work having taken place over the year 2010.
