editOncology and Viral therapy, Specifically oncolytic virus. I work with a variety of oncolytic viruses at an independent academic research institute in London, UK.
Articles I've worked on (And still contribute to)
editI initially began updating the then outdated Oncolytic Virus page, and soon began working on the pages for specific viruses.
Virotherapy had been totally hijacked by Latvian virotherapists promoting RIGVIR (An interesting thing in itself but with little independent commentary with which to build an article) so that needed quite a bit of work.
Soon I realised the history of oncolytic viruses would be better described if the many small stub articles for individual viruses were merged into a general article for each species, resulting in Oncolytic herpes virus and Oncolytic Adenovirus, with articles on individual viruses only in the most notable cases: Talimogene laherparepvec and JX-594.
A branch from oncolytic viruses leads to DEPT (medicine) which again I formed by aggregating smaller articles.
I've also noticed that cancer vaccine is in need of some referencing, might leave that for the future.
