editJohn Christian Waddell (Born October 5, 1997), also known as "Pants" or "PantsAloneS" is a former competitive E-sport player and In-game leader for Team Globochem in Onward, a fairly popular virtual reality military simulator.
Pants was born in Ontario, Canada. He and his team are the First Official Competitive Virtual Reality shooter Champions in History.

Pants was signed on to Globochem a high-ranking Virtual Reality E-sports team in 2017 by the two co-founding brothers Jeremy "Auto" Kotin and Luke "Thund3rPilot" Kotin, where he went on to play as their "IGL" In-game leader for there team and made structural changes.
First the brothers and him re-changed the team's roster. They removed players and brought on to their main roster, Keegan "Toast" MacLeod. Toast was a South Carolinian young prodigy. Along with Rafael "Rafael" Varvounis a multi-talented Greek player. Lastly they would recruit Evan "Arsenic" Bruner. Also a multi-talented Texan player.
The Team would go on to win 3 out of 4 Major Championships around the world. These Events were managed by ESL along with Meta formerly "Facebook" and their VR company Oculus and sponsored by Intel and many others.

editThe First Onward Invitational
editOnward had its first Onward Invitational that was hosted in Leichester, England in 2018. It was comprised of the top 4 teams in the world in a round-robin competition.

This was where Globochem won the first ever VR Shooter Championship event in the world with hundreds of thousands tuning in.
Oculus Connect 5
editThis season 2 event was a showcasing event held in San Diego, California for $120,000 USD[1]
Globochem placed 2nd place at this event to their European Competitor "Beginners".

This event garnered 3.5 million views on Youtube and many more watching live streams.
Intel Extreme Masters "IEM" is a large gaming event set in Katowice, Poland and hosted by Intel.
This VR event was for $250,000[2] and consisting of 4 games.
This event had only the top 2 qualifying teams flown out, those being Globochem and Beginners. This was where Globochem was able to win and put another Major event under their belt.
Onward Invitational Season 3
editThis was the final VR League event held back in Leichester, England and hosted by Meta and ESL for Virtual reality.
The event had 4 qualifying team's from around the world. Pants and Globochem would go on to beat G-Men to become the grand champions for the final VR event and receiving the first ever VR league awards to be taken home.

Personal Life
editPants can now be found streaming on Twitch.com or Kick.com under "PantsAloneS" and is one of the top Call of duty: Modern Warfare 3 Hardcore Search and Destroy players with a staggering 2.91 KDR as shown on his Kick streams at the time or writing.
He is still living in Canada with his Fiance.
