Common challenges
editNomenclatural change
editThe increasingly rapid pace of changes in taxonomic nomenclature in the 21st century due to the adoption of genomic and proteomic techniques has led to concerns that such changes may render the literature inaccessible to working clinicians. ISHAM has proposed that the pace of nomenclatural change be reduced in the clinical literature.[1]
