editIzabela Maria Prokop- is a polish linguist, PhD and associate professor at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and at the Warsaw University. She works at the Institute for Applied Lingustics at Applied Linguistics Department in Warsaw and at the Institute for Applied Linguistics by Faculty of Modern Languages and Literatures in Poznań [1]
Biography
edit1974 she got a degree in the field of German Studies at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań [2]. In 1982 she obtained a PhD, and the topic of her thesis was Deutsch-polnische Übersetzungsäquivalenz im Bereich der Dialogstrukturen ( Polish-German translation equivalence in the field of the dialoge structure) On 18th december 1995 she has conferred with a habilitation for a thesis called Erotetische Sprechakte im Deutschen und im Polnischen anhand natürlicher Gespräch (erotetic speech acts in German and English on the basis of a natural conversation). On 31st october in 2013 she became a Humanistics Professor. She became an associate professor at Adam Mickiewicz University ( at the Institute for Applied Linguistics by Faculty of Modern Languages and Literatures in Poznań) and at the Warsaw University (Institute for Applied Lingustics at Applied Linguistics Department). She is a director of Institute of Applied Linguistics at the Faculty of Modern Languages and Literatures and she was also a Dean of European University of Business and Foreing languages.
