Local Food Plus (LFP) is a Canadian non-profit organization that brings farmers and consumers together to build regional food economies by certifying farmers and processors for local sustainable food production and helping them connect with buyers.
LFP certifies farmers and processors in Ontario, Atlantic Canada, British Colombia and the Prairies who use sustainable practices, directing consumers to sources of Certified Local Sustainable food through a “Buy to Vote” campaign, built on the notion of voting with one’s dollars.
