Saluton, I'm Rut Jesus, a world-citizen ;). My other passport says I am Portuguese and my Residence Permit says I live in Copenhagen.
I belong to the group of 'Wikipedia researchers' by being a PhD student at the Center for Philosophy of Nature and Science Studies at Copenhagen University (and by sitting on the floor of OpenSpace at a WikiSym). My project wants to deal with Cooperation in Distributed Cognition in Socio-Technological Networks, the case of the Wiki(pedia) article. I started in October 2006 and will be doing this for some years. I am mostly interested in understanding some of the (new) patterns in cases it all works - when contributors work together, and write great, possibly featured, articles. As I am mostly looking at the history of the articles (trying to have transparency be even more transparent), I am certainly an enthusiast of History Flow, Wikipedia Animate, and WikiDashBoard. Thanks for making these tools. I'll try to make sense of what is going on using some sociology, science and technology studies and network analysis.
It's confusing, I know. It's fun too. Let me know of research questions that would be interesting to pursue, in other words, talk to me.
