WagTools is a set of JavaScript functions developed by User:Waggers and largely based on Twinkle. At present there is only one tool available for general use: Project tagging and assessment for WikiProject Hampshire only.
Please note that with the development of the more generic Rater script by User:Evad37, which does everything the WagTools project tagging/assessment module was going to do, active development on that part of WagTools has now stopped; it's recommended that you use Rater instead.
Using WagTools
editTo activate WagTools on your account, add the following line of code to your common.js:
importScript('User:Waggers/wagtools.js');
...and follow the instructions at the top of that page about bypassing your browser's cache.
You will now be able to see a "WT Assess" option on the "More" menu.
Support and documentation
editWagTools has been primarily created for my own personal use and I don't have the resources to test and support it in every combination of browser, operating system, other available scripts, etc. If you do encounter a problem using WagTools do feel free to let me know on my talk page, but I make no promises that I'll be able to help.
In the same way I've tried to make WagTools as intuitive to use as possible so that additional documentation is not required.
The old WagTools
editWagTools started life as a Firefox extension – full details at User:Waggers/WagTools. The long term intention is to reintroduce all of that functionality and more into the new user script version of WagTools.
