Bola Mosuro is a Nigerian journalist, radio presenter, and radio producer, who currently hosts Newsday and BBC Network Africa on the BBC World Service.
Mosuro was born in London and raised in London and Lagos. Mosuro lived in the Ilaje-Bariga neighbourhood of Lagos when she was in primary and secondary education. She studied peace and conflict studies at the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland.
Mosuro's parents were both Ijebu from Ogun state, with her father from Odogbolu and her mother from Imaka.
Mosuro also produces and presents the current affairs programme Focus on Africa, having first worked on the show as an editorial assistant in 1992. While based in London, she has reported from the African continent on multiple occasions, including reporting from Nigeria during its 2019 general election.
Mosuro is married with three children.
