I am an online tutor who worked in many countries as an ESL teacher. That's why I called myself 'Wandering-teacher'. I was born in Canada but now live in Australia with my Aussie wife. I am the stepfather to three adults and the second grandfather to TEN (soon to be ELEVEN) grandchildren, who love me very much, as I love them.
I am also a believing, practicing Witness of Jehovah. I was raised one of Jehovah's Witnesses but developed a fear that I only loved my faith and was sure of it because I had been raised in it by loving parents who were believing Jehovah's Witnesses but not fanatical and who enjoyed life and their faith. At about 15, I began to examine other faiths. I even studied evolution, the Trinity doctrine taught in an Evangelical brochure, and read an anti-Jehovah's Witness brochure that can be found here: https://archive.org/details/russellismorruth00shie.
I was thoroughly confused and even wrote the local branch office about the new arguments that were in the Evangelical brochure about the Trinity. The brothers answered me very well with excellent arguments, but my mother saw the answer first, opened it and read it, and told me: "if you have doubts, talk to your father and me, please, before writing the brothers at Bethel."
I asked for their help, and my mother began to review the questions for baptism with me.
Her help rekindled my childhood solid faith in Jehovah God and in his use of Jehovah's Witnesses to accomplish his will.
I dedicated my life to Jehovah in prayer, told my parents of my decision, went through the baptism questions with three of our elders, was approved by them for baptism. I then got baptised in Montreal on 8th of June 1978.
