Whitney Houston, the greatest singer of all time
editFrom the moment Whitney Houston first opened her mouth to sing, it was obvious she was bound for greatness. As the daughter of Cissy Houston, a succesful rhythm-and-blues singer, and a cousin of the even more renowned singer Dionne Warwick, young whitney grew up steeped in music. She is the only artist to hold a record of 13 singles to top the billboard 200 for 14 consecutive weeks. She is also the first female artist to reach the top 3 of the billboard 100. Whitney Houston's single "I will always love you" is the best selling single in music history.
