Over all this article could be expanded to discuss more aspects of the full chart for metabolic pathways. ~~~~ Anipamil is a calcium blocker channel, specifically of the phenylalkylamine type. This type is separate from its more common cousin dihydropyridines. Anipamil is an anologo of the more common drug verapamil. Anipamil is more effective as an antiarrhythmic medicatoin than verapamil because it does not cause hypertension Anipamil bonds to the miocardium stronger then verapamil
