My name is Hans-Peter Hess, originating from Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany. Acc. to this my main platform is the German Wikipedia, where I am active since about 2008. My German profile page sports all those many articles and biographies I wrote. I am focussing on research and studies about German reform schools, this way about pedagogy, history, anti-Semitism, discrimination, prosecution, deportation and emigration, related to the time span between 1871 and 1945 (German Reich). Since about three decades I am studying German history related to this time span.
I studied communications (Radio broadcasting, TV and Public relations), education sciences, German linguistics and literature. Still, my job had been turned from a radio journalist in children and youth program to a senior manager and head of PR and advertising in the large scale industry (systems engineering) so in fact I was planning booths on international trade fairs, created image and product catalogues as well as all other business-related prints and also built-up an archive for product photography and branch offices worldwide. When the web and later web-related apps became prominent, I was creating user guidance of websites and client platforms, implementing fully automated feeds and created the platform's whole editorial contents. For all these jobs a thorough research, a user-oriented authorship and photography were the most prominent tasks.
