In summer 2019 I participated in a 12-week Wiki Scientists course with Wiki Education and the Society of Family Planning (SFP). We learned to edit Wikipedia in order to improve articles about contraception and abortion. As a participant, I received a $1,250 honorarium from SFP. These funds are intended to motivate busy professionals to contribute to public knowledge. SFP has not and will not direct participants to edit specific articles or to advance a particular point of view. All participants received detailed instruction concerning Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy (as well as other policies and guidelines). If you have questions about the program, please contact User:Ryan (Wiki Ed). If you have comments about my contributions, please leave me a message and feel free to ping User:Elysia (Wiki Ed).
