Early Life
editThe youngest son of Alice Brown, and third of Otis Brown. His mother Alice was suffering from Gillian Buray before becoming pregnant with William. His father Otis was addicted to crack at the time of birth and was abusive to his mother. William always had something to prove to people who told him that he wasn't never going to amount to anything. In 1992, his parents gotten a divorce so William had no choice, but to become the man of the house with only two females in the household. At the age of 3 William He was diagnosed with Autism (a brain development disorder that impairs social interaction and communication, and causes restricted and repetitive behavior.) He attended Millet Learning School in 1992 to undergo speech classes, and take swimming lessons from which he graduated in 1993 after ending his triumphant studies. William's sister Allison taught him how to read and write so William could prepare himself intellictually for what he would encounter in life. His brother Dameon were drafted into the United States Army so he stayed distant from his older brother til this day. His younger brother Tyler (who is his father's last child) which he shared with the late Linda Abbey were taking away from him after his little brother's Linda's death.
Public School
editWilliam attended Salina Elementary School in 1994 which is located on the southside of Saginaw, Michigan which he met all his friends from Saginaw High School. He got into many altercations with students because of derogatory comments of him being inadequate in educational stability. Due to these altercations it caused him to be disciplined by means of several suspensions. He later joined the school's choir who was ran by Dr. Howell which he enjoyed greatly. After his tenure at Salina's he graduated from the school in 1999 which he received many awards at the graduation ceremony.
Middle School
editWilliam began attending South Middle School in the middle of 1999. While attending South Middle School he met his current long time friend Charles Yungred Johnson in class. He wrote his first song in the 7th grade, and him and his friend decided to pursue music. He became a rapper with his fellow friend, and while in the process met two new friends Donald Young-Murphy, and Mitchell "Fly-Boi" Weston. These young men formed the group called "Iceland" in 2002 and they went on to a mixtape career, and selling compact disks (CD's). William and Charles played football for South Middle in 8th grade year, but William got injured during the season so he had to quit the season per doctor's orders. He continued on to his 8th grade prom in 2002 even though his mother could not afford to buy him a tuxedo or a suit, so he went in street clothes and had a good time.
High School
editIn 9th grade at Arthur Hill High School, William was attacked by three individuals while riding the bus home on September 19, 2002. He almost suffered from losing vision in his left eye due to the attack. Due to constant teasing of the incident William found a way to escape the despair that he was receiving from his peers; this outlet was music. He joined the school's choir the next year which he discovered his talent to sing.
Later on, he attended Saginaw High School in the fall of 2004. Which he met varsity football coach Lee Arthur. "He was the only man in my school who really give a damn about where I was headed, and helped me lose weight in the process thank you Coach". He met his dear friends Courtney Sledge, China Jackson, and Mark Robinson."In high school, if you aren't popular with your peers you become a target. Especially if you were 6 foot 5. Them individuals kept my head on straight, and helped me to keep my insanity so I could graduate from high school. So I thank them everytime I see them, and have nothing, but love for them".The troubles and the past that William wanted to put behind him was brought back once he joined the football team was a certain individual who wanted to take him out. On September 15, 2005 William had once again got injured playing football, and due to the injury was forced to quit playing for the rest of the season. During high school things esclated until the last remaining days of school. On May 26, 2006 William went to the prom with friend Constance Underwood."She was the only girl that I felt comfortable being around that night because it was no telling that if I would have went with someone else I would of got shot again." On June 1, 2006 William Donnell Brown was presented with a football scholarship at Graduation Night, and he was one out of three men to win a scholarship that night out of his graduation class.
Life at CMU in 2006
editIn the summer of 2006, William moved on the campus of Central Michigan University to live with his pregnant sister Allison. He tried to find work, but no one would hired him because of the color of his skin. While living on campus he meets his sister's apartment supervisor Natalie Merrymen, and form a close-kit relationship with her. Also meets friends at college parties, and around campus William decides to one day go to college, and have a degree in what he loves doing the most. He continued in his music constantly until something will happen for him. He joined LSC3 a on-campus Bible Study Group who allowed him to share his talents, and experiences in his hometown that others had no knowledge of. Later, he moves back to Saginaw with his sister so she could have her baby there.
Baby Mia
editMia Amari Alford Brown Alford was born on December 28, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. William couldn't be there to witnessed the birth of his niece, but came the next day to see her. He bonded with her quickly, and she formed a special place in his heart forever. He became her babysitter in April of 2007, and making sure that is was well taking care of.
On October 5, 2007 William gets his first tattoo of his baby's name on his right forearm of a signal of how much he loves her, and willing to keep Mia in his heart forever.
Personal Life
editWilliam lost a total of 15 childhood friends in the result of drive-by shootings.
William was shot twice in a shooting in 1997. One in the hand, and one bullet gazed in the anus.
William is known as Saginaw, MI's Messiah because he feels like he is the savior of his city's demise in gang violence, and unemployment wise. He is not trying to become the next Jesus, but the savior of ending Black on Black genocide once, and for all.
Has a tattoo reads A cross with clouds surrounding it with a piece of paper that says MIA.
Loves to crack jokes, and be funny when its necessary
Calls his niece his daughter since he, and her mother took care of her since day one.
Planning on releasing his debut CD, Saginaw, MI's Messiah on January 8, 2008 on his 20th Birthday.
