Hi, I'm Winter Ghost, a retired surveyor living near Cambridge (UK). With both parents having been air-force in the war, I was brought up with an interest in aircraft, and in my youth did a lot of plastic aircraft modelling. A couple of years ago I decided to try wooden ship modelling which took me to cardboard modelling (warmer and no need to shut myself out in the garage) which in turn took me back to aircraft modelling, which through one of the forums pointed me at the Flight Global Archive and now I've ended up here. My other main interest is Natural History, but I don't feel there is much I can contribute to that so looks like you guys are stuck with me!
