About Me:
Hi there, I'm a long time user of Wikipedia and have recently become a contributor. My background is in Public Policy, Human Resources, and International Law (in fields of: Human Rights, World Trade, & Intl Relations). I have a big appreciation and interest in history, it's research, and the narratives that are created from history - and also how those narratives can be coopted for personal/group gain. I am from an academic family, so it's important for me to align Wikipedia articles (or any open-source info) to peer reviewed academic sources and I also review the content within those sources to deter "cherrypicking" - while educating myself. I am a firm believer in open source knowledge and in providing human knowledge/information in a neutral manner. In doing so, I'm very happy to talk about an article, in a collaborative approach, on how best to deliver the required information. If I'm unfamiliar with the topic, I try to limit my edits/reviews to cited sources and the use of neutral language, though still learning the ins-outs of Wikipedia.
If you have any questions, feel free to use the Talk option - but I do have a life outside of Wikipedia (despite Covid's attempts) and might take some time to reply.
