Jarno Trulli
editJarno Trulli (born 13th July 1974, Pescara, Italy) is an Italian motor-racing driver who competes in the Formula One World Championship.
Karting Career
editJarno Trulli started karting at age seven in mini-kart. From 1987 to 1995 he won World, European, Italian and North American titles. In 1996, he won the German Formula Three championship with the KMS team.
Half way through the 1995 German Formula Three season, the young Italian was assured guidance and support from Flavio Briatore. He achieved success the following year and signed a management contract with Briatore, despite a flurry of interest.
Formula One

editJarno Trulli agreed a management contract with Benetton team-boss Flavio Briatore. At the same time, Giancarlo Minardi hoped to bring a young Italian to the Minardi team.

edit- Trulli's forename is a tribute to 300cc motorcycle champion Jarno Saarinen, who tragically died during a motorcycle race at the Monza cicuit in 1974.
- The Trulli train is a reference used within Formula One when a queue of cars form behind the car of Jarno Trulli.
