(see the help page).The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) administers $800 million[1], and the DWR will administer the remaining $100 million as Sustainable Groundwater Planning Grant Funds for developing programs that support the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act.[2]
The DWR the has released the first draft of the Proposal Solicitation Package (PSP) for GSPs. This initial PSP has made $86.3 million available for the, "planning, development, or preparation of GSPs" and a minimum of $10 million from the initial PSP has been earmarked for Severely Disadvantaged Communities.[3] Eligibility for grant approval requires that the GSPs address high or medium priority basins.
