Thomas "Tom" Pursglove is the British Conservative Party candidate for Corby in the 2015 General Election.[1]
Early life and education
editBorn in Kettering in November 1988, Thomas Pursglove attended Sir Christopher Hatton School and received a degree in politics at Queen Mary, University of London.[2]
Political career
editIn 2007, Pursglove was elected to Borough Council of Wellingborough at age 18, at the time one of the youngest in the country. He is currently the Chairman of Overview and Scrutiny.[3] On April 7, 2013, he was announced as the Conservative Candidate for Corby.[4][failed verification] He is also the Director of the "Together Against Wind" national anti-wind farm campaign.[5]
Personal life
editIn his free time Tom is an avid swimmer and cricketer.
