HAIR: you have to have bangs that cover one of your eyes.why? so you can only see half of the world. You also should dye your hair black. If your not allowed to? then at least get Dark brown. Other cool looks are: Blonde & Black Red& Black...etc. or just Black and your hair is very important! you need gel and mousse for your hair and anti-frizz to keep it goin. If you wear glasses: get thick black rimmed glasses or horn.Thats emo. even if you don't wear glasses,you can still buy them at stores around $5-$10.
PANTS:
You will need a studded belt of course!
DO NOT put it in the loops,put the belt over your pants on the side.
You also need tight pants/Strait legged. Those are a MUST
If not? then bell-bottoms are OKAY?
SHIRTS.. you have to wear BLACK shirts.....no questions.... If not? then wear shirts with beaches or places that you've never been to. Skulls and random shirts are emo too. It's YOUR way of being EMO.
SHOES.... CONVERSE all the wayy! get black.. if you're rich....get more converse of different colors. and VANS get VANS! and you will also need flats =P
THE ACTING: yeah, yeah, since i'll tell you how to act may seem like your a poseur? please try not to be a POSEUR they are NOT cool! But if your still trying to brush up on your emo skills.... you have to be a quiet person,except when your around your friends. You need to be deppressed when the smallest things happen. You have to be sensitive.
WRISTS: You can't have bear wrists,wear black jelly bracelets,or wristbands. If your a messed up emo kid [your not alone] you will cut yourself. But that is a choice,not a MUST.
MUSIC: Try to spread your music taste to others. MY Chemichal Romance Hawthorne Heights Thursday Boys Like Girls Underoath Red Jumpsuit.....etc. you also need a MP3 or ipod,music=life
REMEMBER:if your are not a quiet anti-social person EMO ISN'T RIGHT FOR YOU! that is a POSEUR!
PIERCINGS: the more the better! the popular ones are nose,ears & bottom lip
ONLINE:you need to get emo layouts for your page. get a digital camera! take pics that show half your face. and take mostly black & white pics. and you need an emo screename ex: xxwishingxwellxx and to type emo: you.can.type.like.this. oryoucantypelikethis
SCHOOL: try to be depressed and try not to talk to anymone,except your friends. Messenger bags are mostly for guys but it's still cool for girls,but nowadays girls get those bags that open up at the top and are pretty big with pins on them. Put a few pins on your bag and jacket. Don't gp overboard!
OTHER: black nailpolish is good too. it's okay to NOT wear any. and in the winter wear scarfs and arm/hand warmers and try not to have any FUN be a stubborn teenager be emotional and sensitive. thats what you are, right? just watch out for them poseurs! EYELINER=LOVE yes wear eyeliner! it's very important! and i know you've hear of emos being gay... it doesn't matter strait,gay or Bi it's all YOU and you MUST be skinny! if your overweight at least try to lose it.Do you see fat Emos much? NOPE. and i know you've probably heard of VEGANS or VEGITARIANS it's okay to do it.But WHO CARES ABOUT ANIMALS?! everyones going to die someday right? but whatever,it's your choice. and you MUST complain. even if your rich,complain how poor you are and how your clothes are all donated,and you can't afford anything. Try to wear your parents sweaters and old black clothes.
