The Keisei 3000 series (京成3000形) is a DC electric multiple unit (EMU) train type operated by the private railway operator Keisei Electric Railway on commuter services in the Tokyo area of Japan since 2003.[2]

editThe eight-car sets are frequently used on inter-running services via the Toei Asakusa Line to and from the Keikyu Main Line.[3]
Formations
editAs of 24 October 2021[update], the fleet consists of 19 eight-car sets, numbered 3001; 3026 to 3030; 3033; 3035; 3036 to 3038; 3041; 3042; and 3051 to 3056, and 29 six-car sets, numbered 3002 to 3025; 3031; 3032; 3034; 3039; and 3040, which are formed as shown below.[3][4] Car 1 is at the Narita Airport end.

History
editA second eight-car set, 3026, was delivered from the Nippon Sharyo factory in Toyokawa, Aichi in January 2013, approximately five years after the previous set was built.[6]
Fleet build details
editThe build histories for the most recent 3000 series sets are as shown below.[3] Two six-car sets, 3031 and 3032, were delivered during fiscal 2015, entering revenue service in February and March 2016 respectively.[7] These trains feature interior LED lighting.[7]

The Keisei 3050 series (京成3050形) is a commuter electric multiple unit (EMU) train type operated by the private railway operator Keisei Electric Railway on the Narita Sky Access Line in Japan since 17 July 2010.
Interior
editPassenger accommodation consists of longitudinal bench seating throughout. From 31 March 2013, WiMAX wireless broadband internet access was provided on all 3050 series trains.[16]

History
editThe trains entered service in July 2010.
In 2019, the livery of set 3052 was changed to match the livery of the Keisei 3100 series trains, with four other 3050 series sets scheduled to be reliveried the same way in the future.[17]
Starting from December 2019, 3050 series trains were re-liveried to match the 3000 series trains. As of August 2020, sets 3051, 3052 and 3053 have been re-liveried.[18][19] [20]
