Hi. I am from Sweden. Had much use for the English and Swedish versions of Wikipedia over the years, and made some minor edits to both.
Might become more active in the future.
Spent many years working as a journalist writing about computer games and the Internet. Has a academic degree (Fil Kand, comparable to Bachelor's Degree) in both Psychology and Sexology. Also studied Sociology, Criminology, Gender Studies and Philosophy. Hobbies include tabletop roleplaying games, movies, Science Fiction and Fantasy. Interested in issues of human rights and protection of all kinds of minorities.
Potential COI:s
editEveryone has his own perspective and starting point. No individual can be completely neutral about anything. However, I think Wikipedia's style of neutrality can work. While I like the real world kind of Advocacy for good causes, the wikipedia-advocacy for "The Truth" definitely sounds like something to avoid.
These are the relevant organizations that I am currently involved with in one way or another. I'm not getting paid by any of them, but I do some volunteer work and such. Thus I'm a bit close to them, requiring me to be extra cautious when/if I edit pages about them:
This list does not include the rather long list of organizations that I am merely a member of, may get involved with in the future (adding them when and if it happens), or that I consider irrelevant for my wiki editing. Please note that I do not consider myself a representative of organizations on the list: This is about potential conflicts of interests (which one of the policy pages said one ought to note in one's profile), not about potential spokespersonship. :-)
Oh, and I'm currently working for a certain organization in Indonesia. I don't feel like naming it before I get back to Sweden, so I'll simply abstain from editing about any organization in Indonesia while I'm still here. I thought about making a secondary account, which would be open about where I worked, but I decided to not bother.
