                                               PROBLEM-SOLVING SOFTWARE
                 Problem solving is the act of defining a problem, determining the cause of the problem, identifying, prioritizing and selecting alternatives for a solution and implementing a solution.

Problem-solving software is therefore software designed for the use of problem solving. Developers of these kinds of software have a peculiar kind of problems to solve. It works through processing and the problems are being solved anywhere, at anytime with the help of the software. This kind of software also focuses on skills and approaches specifically to problem solving ability.

                 Again, problem-solving software is a program that focuses on developing or exercising critical thinking skills by the user rather than a specific academic discipline.

“Crazy Machine 2” is an educative and a problem solving software created for persons of ages eight (8) to adults from viva media. It is puzzle game taken to the extreme. For parents looking for a challenge that they can share with their kids, this may be it.

                 Khan Academy on the other hand, is also a problem solving software Sal Khan an American non-profit educational organization created in 2008, with the goals of creating a set of online tools that help educate students at all levels. The organization produces short lessons in the form of videos. Its’ website also include supplementary practice, exercise and materials for educators. 
                 In all, these aforementioned points and many more software programs are being used in problem solving. Most of which are not used only in the classroom but also outside the classroom setting and the general environment as a whole with the main motive of promoting effective change in learning.
