PICT (Pune Institute of Computer Technology) CSI (Computer Society of India) Student Branch [1] is a student driven club in PICT[2], Dhankawdi. Student branches provide members with an opportunity to connect and network with their peers in their areas of interest and future professions. Students can voluntarily enroll for PCSB and choose their area of interest from the various Technical and Non-Technical domains.
History:-
Pune Institute of Computer Technology CSI Student Branch was established in 2016 with an objective to facilitate research, knowledge sharing, learning and career enhancement for students, while simultaneously inspiring and nurturing new entrants into industry and helping them to integrate into the IT Community. It was founded in PICT by Dr. Kavita Sultanpure in 2016.
PCSB works under Computer Society of India (CSI)[3] to provide latest technology related knowledge to students. PCSB started with 147 student members in the academic year 2016-2017.

Analysis over the years:-
PCSB(PICT CSI Student Branch) has been growing over the years in terms of the scope of events as well as the number of members. The club was originally founded with 147 members in 2016 which has grown out to be 190+ in the year 2020. The number of participants has shown a positive curve in this respect and it is expected to grow even more in the coming years.
With increase in the number of members and scope of events the marketing scope is also being increased to target and engage participants from a larger area. With every successful year, PCSB is targeting to host the majority of their events on self developed and independent platforms.
Aims and Objectives:-
• PICT CSI Student Branch aims to facilitate knowledge sharing, learning and career enhancement for its members and participants.
• Host annual Technical Events and Non-Technical Events to enhance knowledge and skills of participants.
• Give Certification and Training Programs at Discounted Rates.
• Provide a global competition platform for its participants.
• Provide resources to enthusiasts who are willing to work for the development of events.
