Surfing is a video game modification which makes use of a movement glitch within the Source engine to allow the player to slide across sloped platforms. Originating in Counter-Strike 1.6,[1] the mod has since spread to other Source-based first-person shooters, including subsequent games in the Counter-Strike series and Team Fortress 2.[2] [3][4][5]
