I name if Natalie Young, I am a junior at Marquette University studying Human Physiology and Sociology. I am originally from Seattle Washington where my family still lives. I have two siblings, a sister who is fifteen and a brother who is eighteen. I also have a dog, Maverick who is a very important part of our family. He is a Flat Coat Retriever. These dogs are known to be "pleasers" they love giving and receiving affection.
In Seattle I love to enjoy all the outdoor activities that the state has to offer. This includes; skiing in the mountains, hiking, going to the beach and exploring the San Jaun Islands.
I attended Holy Names Academy, an all girls high school where I rooted my interest in medical studies and developed a passion about human rights that sparked my interest in sociology. In high school I was a national qualifying competitive Irish Dancer, this was my favorite extracurricular activity. I participated in this for 10 years where I learned how to dedicate myself to something I love and enjoy.
At Marquette I am apart of a Monday Night bowling league where my skills are put to the test every week with friends and other students. I also work in the Marquette Spirit Shop as a sales associate. I also participate in Marquette Mardi Gras, which is a service organization that helps communities who are devastated with natural disasters and impoverished communities. This organization is something that I cherished being apart of.
