Yousef G. AlWattar is an entrepreneur and Strategy adviser, born in the state of Kuwait (Apr. 1, 1974). Best known for his role as implementing quality standards in organizations. His academic studies (Phd in management) and (MBA in strategic management), along with his practical experience of 20 years in both governmental and private sector, developing strategies, and implementing quality management systems using international standards (ISO) and best management practices, attracted a variety of leading and CEOs for his services.

1 Early life

AlWattar’s Father died when he was 12 years only, his mother was a head of school before retirement few months prior to his father’s death as he was her only child.

2. Career

AlWattar started his career managing a sector in a trading & contracting company owned by his family and managed by his uncle (his mother’s brother) during a short break in between his Bachelors and master's degrees. Few months before he starts his MBA studies, he joined well know management consultancy firm, which enabled him to apply academic theories taught with practical challenges on ground. During his master's degree in 2003, he partnered with a friend and established his first company (at the age of 28) and named it Ambition, providing management consultancy. Within 2 years, his first established company was generating so much business that he decided to move to a prime location in the heart of trading and business area in Kuwait and started employing consultants that he trained himself to enable him manage the huge amount of business generated. In the year 2007 (after 4 years of operations), his company was valuated for a million dollar worth. By end of 2012, he and his partner decided to end the partnership, and he established his second consultancy company and named it (Options Solutions) as he believed that life is full of options and solutions.

3. Publications

AlWattar wrote his first book in (Human resources strategies) in 2013 and published it on Amazon, were he included in it many strategies and lessons learned from the global economic crises that took place in 2008. Also he wrote his second book on (ISO 9001 from implementation to auditing) in 2018, Were he laid in it his 20 years of experience in strategies and quality implementation in hundreds of organizations.

AlWattar ‘s reputation in the MENA was growing rapidly, and demand on his guidance and practical training / mentoring services increased between 2015 and 2020 due to his practical tools used, and results achieved by organizations utilized his professional services. By end of 2020, he trained and lectured for more that 10.000 executives and CEOs on practical leadership tools and step by step strategy formation.
