The England cricket team represents England and Wales in Test cricket. Since 2020, England has played 61 Test matches, resulting in 30 victories, 8 draws and 23 defeats.[2]
England has faced India most frequently during this period—playing 14 matches against them followed by 10 matches against Australia. England have won more matches than they have lost against Ireland, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and the West Indies. While they have losing records against Australia and India.[3] England have won four matches by an innings, with their largest victory being by an innings and 114 runs against the West Indies in 2024. They have won by ten wickets twice during this period, and their largest victory by runs alone was against the West Indies in 2020, whom they beat by 269 runs. Conversely, England has lost by an innings 4 times since 2020.
