ZerodEgo currently resides near Manchester, UK; and holds a Physics B.Sc. degree from the Manchester University, UK, graduating eventually in 1980; he is a member of the Institute of Physics, hence a MInstP, and the Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET), currently a Snr Project Manager/Physicist.
Also currently a practicing Tibetan Buddhist (and also interested in Atheism, Humanism) after taking refuge along with his younger brother & 5 other people in the Kagyu Ling centre in Sale with HH Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche in 1976 & subsequently a member of the Dechen sangha [1] ; and was the Tibetan Buddhist secretary at Manchester University in 1977-78 under Lama Jampa Thaye's direction. The dzogchen teachings were of particular interest to him & later joined other sanghas of that lineage. His younger brother moved to Osho teachings.

Current interests include the correct unbiased history of brutally occupied (since the CCP's 1949/50 invasion of, Lebensraum and subsequent Democide/Genocide in currently illegally occupied) Tibet (consisting of 3 areas of U-Tsang, Amdo & Kham), more recently the continued destruction of Tibet's capital Lhasa while the world does nothing to confront the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) in a seeming 'policy' of appeasement. Recent campaigning of National Geographic to abandon its current policy of renaming Tibetan towns/Cities with the Pinyin names [2].

Along with colleagues & friends ran SETI@home since the start 14 Aug 1999 until its conclusion 16 June 2020, however now coming to think as per many such as ProfBECox that with myriad of chances that led us to even talk via internet is extremely slim; possibly 1 in ~10E^24 as per 'The Infinite Monkey Cage discussion'(Series Twenty Two Total: 134 No.: 9 Title: "What is Life?" 20 July 2020) which is more than the number of stars in our MW galaxy (~4X10E^11}. Some have calculated maybe up to 5 (BBC Sky At Night), but we'll never know until a signal is discovered via SETI or accidentally.
Another recent 'finding'/realisation is that InterStellarTravel is extremely unlikely even for us, why?, because you would never muster enough OnBoardSpares or Repairs facilities to take a craft trillions of km, unless you has 100% reliable equipment or we had magical self-fixing LRU's, 'infinite' repair facility or Matter Replicators, just consider the amount of resources in the various production lines to create even the humble PC.

Notice wikipedia is a powerful tool to tell our descendants our gained human knowledge, although it troubles me that so much can be politically biased by strong groups. I seek a middle way approach which being a Buddhist is only natural. Also notice some Wikipedia Admins have tendency to delete too quickly, dismiss or undo edits, some as claimed unreliable sources such as IMDB whereas other people use them & admins have not deleted/warned them I'm aware of, when am trying to add to pool of human knowledge especially on subjects I may possibly know a tad more about than they may do!
Climate Change
Is real but my view having studied both at University & during my 4+ decades career beleive it is exaggerated to the point that society somehow thinks it will burn us all up. So I take all views & read those of Deniers Luke Warners up to those that Catastrophise the subject.
