Structure
edit- Identify a person who fits the above description of a mechanician.
- Search the person in the Wikipedia.
- If an entry of the person exists in Wikipedia, simply add a section containing her advisors, and another section containing her students. Fill out information that you are sure about, and no need to be complete.
- If no entry of her exists in Wikipedia, you can search her advisor in Wikipedia.
- If an entry of her advisor exists, then add her name as a student in the entry of the advisor. Enclose her name within [[ ]], which automatically starts an entry of her.
- If you don't know her advisor, simply add her name in the following list of Founders, again enclosed within [[ ]].
When creating an article on a Mechanician, be sure to include the following information:
- Biography - Leave this blank or keep it short if you don't have time for it now.
- Master degree - Year, Place, Title of thesis, Advisor
- Doctoral degree - Year, Place, Title of thesis, Advisor
- Post-doctoral training - Year, Place, Research topics, Advisor
- Notable students

Tasks
edit- The advisors of the following mechanicians are unknown. If you know the advisor of a person in the list, update the Wikipedia entry of this person, and replace her name by her advisor's name in the list. Please keep the list in the alphabetical order.
Adopt an article
editSimilar to the Collaboration of the week, but on a smaller scale, you might want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing the research, writing, and picture-taking (if possible) for either a non-existent article or a stub. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while, to try and build up the number of quality articles the Project has produced.
