My Interest in Esports When I was a sophomore in college, my mom linked me an article to a job add regarding an esports director for our college. Me not knowing much about esports, I didn't believe it was real. I had always been passionate about videogames my entire life, but was this finally an opportunity to turn my passion into a career?
I met with the man who was hired to be our first esports director. His name was Connor Alne. He was a skinny man, with red hair, younger guy, fresh out of college, and had a background in media and content creation. Right away in his cramped office, we began putting our heads together to build a program.
Years later, here I am at Converse doing the same thing for my senior year of college. I got the opportunity to come to converse as the Head Coach for League of Legends, a premier title the program would need to get off of the ground.
I am incredibly excited to begin this journey at a new school across the country, and to see what will certainly be a competitive asset to converse.
