I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Physiological Science at Marquette University. I am a junior set to graduate in the spring of 2021. I intent to go to medical school after graduating and specialize in ophthalmology. I currently work in a sample management lab at Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin and I’m also a Volunteer in the Sports Medicine Institute at Aurora Sinai Medical Center.
I was born in Monterrey, Mexico. I have lived in a couple of countries such as El Salvador, Colombia, Peru, Puerto Rico and now I’ve spent my last three years in Milwaukee. During high school, I was part of the Student Council and I also participated in different sports teams such as the tennis team and I was also goalkeeper for the indoor soccer team. I’m part of the Club Tennis team at Marquette and I’ve traveled to different universities for tournaments such as University of Michigan and Michigan State University. In my free time I like playing tennis, watch a movie or a soccer match.
