GameMine Inc. is a US-based mobile game publisher and digital distributor based in Los Angeles, California.[1] The company was founded by Starr and Flaviu Rus, the president of GameMine.[2] The mobile gaming portal serves as a gateway for users to dive deep into the world of gaming, as it delivers a wide variety of games that number over a thousand. GameMine creates, licenses, and acquires mobile games before distributing them to consumers in over 135 countries via a subscription-based mobile game marketplace.[3] Due to a presence in Google Play and possessing multiple industry-leading mobile carrier partnerships, GameMine was able to fulfil and satisfy gamers’ interests with their diverse range of mobile gaming genres. As GameMine is a mobile game distributor, it develops and licenses many mobile games and markets them through subscription-based mobile games to consumers in more than 135 countries worldwide. The History and Expansion of GameMine

Starr intended to start a firm that was entirely dedicated to gaming. In May 2017, $20 million was invested in GameMine after selling his previous company, Principal Media, to THC LLC. Since then, the company has collaborated with Sony and Viacom to release additional mobile games featuring well-known brands, including Nickelodeon's SpongeBob Squarepants, PowerPuff Girls, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a Viacom subsidiary.[5]

As of July 3, 2017, South African operator Vodacom will now have access to GameMine's subscription-based mobile games as a result of the two companies' strategic partnership. According to Daniel Starr, CEO of GameMine, stated that "the distinct value and importance of South Africa's thriving mobile carrier market as an appropriate demographic region for our company's product, as well as an early trend indicator for the entire African continent's mobile industry." The partnership, according to the company, would significantly increase its global subscriber base as well as its exposure in international mobile carrier markets.[6]

Then, on August 11, 2017, GameMine made the announcement that it had distribution agreements with five foreign mobile carriers in Egypt, Italy, and Spain. In its subscription service, GameMine has amassed more than 400 games and is making them accessible on major carriers' iOS or Android devices. Through the collaborations, Movistar, Orange, Vodafone, Wind Tre, and TIM mobile customers in Spain, Egypt, and Italy had access to GameMine's extensive library of direct carrier-billed, subscription-based mobile games. The collaborations provide Orange mobile subscribers in Spain with Movistar mobile service, and Movistar, Orange, Vodafone, Wind Tre, and TIM are some of the carriers. More than 150 million mobile subscribers would then have access to GameMine's mobile games thanks to these five partnerships, which were the most recent in a line of strategic business alliances that the company was building to expand its subscriber base internationally and increase its visibility and appeal across international mobile carrier markets.[7] Starr and Flaviu Rus, the company's president, co-founded GameMine, which has a sizable library of more than 400 mobile game titles encompassing all the key gaming genres. Through distribution agreements with prestigious international mobile carriers including, among others, Vodacom, Orange, and Telefonica, GameMine provides services to millions of active customers worldwide.

On January 3, 2018, Gamemine went on to announce the expansion of its partnership with global entertainment companies such as Viacom subsidiary, Nickelodeon. With this expansion, GameMine was now making its entire library of Nickelodeon mobile games available to users of the Swisscom, Moviestar, Orange, A1, and Vodafone mobile networks in Switzerland, Austria, France, Portugal, Belgium, and Poland, as well as seven new mobile games with Nickelodeon themes. As stated by GameMine CEO Daniel Starr, Gamemine has partnered with Nickelodeon to offer subscribers a range of mobile games featuring globally recognized characters like SpongeBob SquarePants and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.[8]

On January 29, 2018, GameMine generated a strong net profit, on pace to achieve more than $20 million in profit. On that day, US-based mobile game publisher GameMine Inc. announced that it had become profitable. GameMine's recent entry into new international markets and the rapid expansion of its wide range of mobile game titles during 2017 were both credited with the company's attainment of positive revenue. Following GameMine's successful $20 million Series A venture capital raise, several smart leadership hires, and numerous worldwide distribution partnerships, the company has now achieved financial stability.

Following this, on March 29, 2018, ChopUp's collection of culturally focused mobile games joins GameMine's already diverse library of titles, making them available to all of GameMine's millions of subscribers globally. Furthermore, this collaboration represents GameMine's continued growth as a top international mobile game publisher, as well as the diversification of its business initiatives in Africa. ChopUp's company's exposure significantly, and ChopUp was impressed with GameMine's interest in working with local businesses like them. On May 22, 2018, Gamemine, a US-based mobile gaming publishing company based in Los Angeles, announced that it had established a global distribution partnership with mobile development company Connect2Media.[10] Through the partnership and agreements, Gamemine was granted distribution rights to select Connecti2Media's popular mobile games, with ad-free experiences and fully unlocked through Gamemine's mobile gaming subscription platform. The development of subscription services meant publishers were able to drive discovery and create new monetization methods outside of the major app stores, so Connect2Media was excited and thrilled to be working together with Gamemine to provide more opportunities to their content partners.[11]

On June 7, 2019, GameMine Inc., a US-based mobile game publisher, announced the expansion of its mobile gaming catalogue to over 1,200 game titles in the Czech Republic market. The information follows the disclosure of multiple strategic license partnerships that GameMine entered into in order to broaden the scope of its library of action, casino, logic, adventure, racing, and arcade games. GameMine, which collaborates with game producers to provide consumers in Central Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia with access to ad-free mobile games, is frequently referred to as the Netflix of mobile gaming. Members now have access to a more varied and ever-expanding library of games thanks to GameMine's existing relationships.

From what Gamemine's official website has stated, users can purchase a subscription by subscribing to Gamemine's service, thus granting the latter power/authority to charge the mobile subscription service without a credit card. Users that sign up for the service have access to the catalogue on a daily, weekly, or monthly billing cycle and gain full-access to the most popular games in their library with no interruption from advertisements for maximum experience and with no in-app purchases. GameMine allows mobile gamers to play any genre of game they want, whenever they want, fully unlocked and without annoying ads. In comparison to the traditional method of sending subscribers to external app stores to download and pay for mobile games, GameMine allows for increased monetization of the carrier's subscriber base. Moreover, due to GameMine's direct carrier billing model, a credit card is no longer required to access a vast selection of mobile games, which was previously required to purchase games one-by-one via the iOS and Android app stores.[12]
