Constantine the Great

edit

What we know as the ‘Nicene Creed’ really seems to date from the Council of Chalcedon in 451. Since 451 “it has been regarded as the Creed of the Council of 381”, the Council of Constantinople, but this is an “erroneous tradition” as “the earliest authorities connecting it with Constantinople” date from around 449-50, just a year or two before the Council of Chalcedon. Its use in the Liturgy/Eucharist began in the East at Antioch and seems to date from somewhere between 476 and 488, though it was not used in Rome for another five and a half centuries.

Your signature and linter errors

edit

Just a reminder that your signature contains obsolete font tags. They create Linter errors, and it is advised that you change your signature to [[User:Érico|<span style="color:#1780AD;">'''Érico'''</span>]] [[User talk:Érico|<small style="color:gray;">(talk)</small>]] ASAP.

The purpose of this message is because Linter errors affect the way the page looks, and with a lot of errors, the page may render badly. To reduce Linter errors, please change your signature. See WP:SIGFONT for more info.

If the software doesn't accept my replacement signature, let me know, and if that's the case, unfortunately you may have to change it to something else. Sheep (talk) 17:29, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Looking for Feedback

edit

Hi! As part of my university curriculum, I've contributed to the banking lobby wiki article which I believe you've contributed to before. I'm contacting past editors seeking feedback on my contributions, so if you could take a look at it, I would appreciate it. I am new to Wikipedia, so I apologize for any mistakes in the article. No problem if you cannot take a look, thank you for your previous contributions to the article! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Peanutbutterisbad (talkcontribs) 20:15, 24 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
