- And you are not a sufficient authority figure for me to heed to your lame@ss advice. I am fed up with a torrent of DYK entries that contain zero hook (which, I remind you, is supposed to be "a surprising or intriguing fact" and "interesting to a broad audience") and are neither engaging nor interesting to laymen that DYK is aimed at. How do these, to name just a few, meet the hook requirements?
