I actually think it's a good idea to have a category with this title ("Muslim converts convicted of terrorism"), separating convicted terrorists from those who have been accused (formally or informally) but not tried. (Also, be careful not to include people, like Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, who are not actually converts to Islam.) If you want, you can create a separate category called "Muslim converts involved in terrorist acts," and I can make the current category a subcategory of that. How does that sound? A Stop at Willoughby (talk) 22:39, 12 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Shall we then also have a category "Christians convicted of terrorism"? IQinn (talk) 03:02, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps, if the terrorism in question was committed in the name of Christianity. Obviously, a good number of those who have been convicted of terrorism in recent years have been converts to Islam. It is entirely plausible that our readers would recognize this incidence and therefore use this category to navigate this set of related articles. A Stop at Willoughby (talk) 03:57, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Do you think that all the people in "Muslim converts convicted of terrorism" committed their crimes in the name of Islam? Should we only place people into this category that committed terrorism in the name of Islam? IQinn (talk) 04:09, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
why did you even thought that this category was made out of targeting islam? it's just a category! --أبرهة العصبي (talk) 13:15, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
You are right it is just a category. So why are you so upset? Nobody has accused you of bad faith or wrongdoing. Please be open for discussion. Actually i replied to A Stop at Willoughby in the flow of conversation. If you prefer not to have a discussion about this category on your talk page there is nothing wrong with that and i suggest we just move the discussion over to the categories talk page. Really i do not think there is anything offensive regarding my questions and they were never mend to be an offence. I never thought the category was made out of targeting Islam. Regards. IQinn (talk) 13:45, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
I'm not the one who deleted messages from his discussion board to tell me i don't want a discussion! actually i don't see a "discussion" here, it's not like the category is controversial or there's a vote for removing! --أبرهة العصبي(talk) 14:03, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Well that is the message you left on my talk page: "honey, it's not my freakin business ok? i'm not christian so pick someone else to bully... sorry dear but it's not your day." You think that was an acceptable civil response to my good faith questions? IQinn (talk) 15:31, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
first when you post a comment don't vandalize other posts!! secondly yes actually! thirdly... ENOUGH FOR TODAY PULEEZE! --أبرهة العصبي (talk) 16:58, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
I have vandalized other posts? I disagree with that but you are free to tell us where i "vandalized". Ok you think that was a civil response. I know you are new so please have a look at WP:CIVILITY where is described what we call civil in our community. You might also find something about shouting "ENOUGH FOR TODAY PULEEZE!". Welcome to our community. IQinn (talk) 17:12, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

You stated at User talk:Iqinn that "you have no rights to delete discussion even if it's on "your" page". Actually, everyone has the right to remove messages from his user talk page (though generally not from article talk pages and the like). People are not allowed to change comments, but simply removing them is acceptable. Fram (talk) 13:42, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

omg they used to tell me that wikipedia arabic!! they have been faking rules all that time to size my existing out there. i'm so sorry and thanks for letting me know.--أبرهة العصبي (talk) 14:11, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
It is possible that the individual language wikipedias have different rules regarding it. They aren't bound to use the English-languge wiki's guidelines (I don't believe). Syrthiss (talk) 14:20, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
I added the 'i dont believe' because I am not entirely sure that I am stating that correctly, that they aren't bound to this wiki's guidelines. I know they handle their user permissions differently, so it wouldn't surprise me that my understanding here is correct. Syrthiss (talk) 17:05, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

أبرهة العصبي, in reply to your latest message on my talk page – don't worry about it, I'm glad to help. Feel free to let me know if you need any assistance with categories, or anything else really.

Iqinn, let's continue our discussion on Category talk:Muslim converts convicted of terrorism. Anyone else who's interested is welcome to join in. A Stop at Willoughby (talk) 20:30, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
