Speedy deletion nomination of Panaroma Movies

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Panaroma Movies requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Your contributed article, Panaroma Movies

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Panaroma Movies. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Draft:Panorama Movies. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Draft:Panorama Movies. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at [[Talk:Draft:Panorama Movies|the article's talk page]].

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Ingratis (talk) 02:25, 16 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

I've moved this back to Draft space because right now, it clearly fails the notability requirements. There are sources, but they don't focus on Panaroma Movies, but on specific films. Notability doesn't transfer, so a film can be notable, but the production company may not be notable. Ravensfire (talk) 23:19, 11 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Top Hero (2010 film) moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Top Hero (2010 film), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.   Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Ravensfire (talk) 13:56, 15 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Montazur Rahman Akbar, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Diff: [1] It's also sort of ironic that you removed a template asking for content to be edited for spelling and grammar, but added incorrectly spelled words. Do you have an explanation for this? Template:Infobox person

edit

Re: this, please read the Template:Infobox person instructions so that you don't continue to misuse the infobox parameters. |relatives=, |father=, |mother= are only to be used when we are talking about notable family members, i.e. ones that have their own, well-established Wikipedia articles. Additionally, don't add unsourced content as you did. Biographies of living people must be impeccably sourced. If you can't substantiate the facts that you are adding to these articles, the content is going to be deleted, and you can wind up with your editing privileges revoked. If I were you, I'd read MOS:BLP quickly. This isn't a trivial issue, since in some cases your unsourced edits could be violating the subject's privacy. Please read Template:Infobox person instructions

edit

Hi there, re: this edit, please stop misusing infobox parameters. See Template:Infobox person. If you continue to misuse parameters, like |relatives= and |party= for instance, your editing privileges will be interrupted. And if you submit something once, and you discover that it has been removed, look in the edit history to find out why it was removed. Repeatedly submitting the same problematic content is disruptive, and it tends to look like you have no interest in being part of a community of editors.   Hello, I'm Cyphoidbomb. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Montazur Rahman Akbar, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:55, 20 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Draft:Panorama Movies

edit

Please don't move Draft:Panorama Movies to main article space. It's clearly not ready and you VERY clearly have a WP:COI around Montazur Rahman Akbar and related article as that's all you've edited. If you move the article again, it will go to WP:AFD where it almost certainly will be deleted in it's current state. You also need to review WP:COI and WP:PAID and make required disclosures. If you work for Akbar or any company related, or are being paid by anyone connected, you are a WP:PAID contributor and MUST declare the connection. This is required by the terms of use you agree to every time you make an edit. Ravensfire (talk) 22:08, 19 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello নয়নবাবু. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Montazur Rahman Akbar, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:নয়নবাবু. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=নয়নবাবু|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Ravensfire (talk) 14:37, 24 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Montazur Rahman Akbar while logged out.

The contribution history of 103.35.171.130 is rather similar to your contribution history. Clearly you are the same person. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. You still have not responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying you may be blocked from editing. Ravensfire (talk) 16:59, 29 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.
