Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Launceston, Tasmania are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Thank you for your feedback. However I believe my comments are not out of place (maybe out of time), on the basis that people are debating on the matter of if certain information should be excluded purely because of how it will influence other people's opinions, and primarily that they are worried that the information will cause people to form a negative impression. My belief is that if they make this the criteria for deciding which information to exclude from the article, it will affect the quality of the article. As a writer myself of tourism articles, I came to this page to seek independent and unbiased information and was dismayed to find that it's not present. There are also numerous important pieces of information missing that are typical to information on Wikipedia city articles, particularly population density and demographics, which are supposed to be present in the sidebar. I am not trying to be disrespectful to the writers, but just to make sure that they are aware that the choices they are making can consequences they did not intend. หมีขั้วโลก (talk) 06:43, 29 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
