Tony Hawk Soundtracks

Hello there. You can't really compare the Guitar Hero articles with those of Tony Hawk. In Guitar Hero, the entire game revolves around the song list, it is an inherent part of the gameplay. Not so in Tony Hawk, where the music is simply there for background entertainment. Generally, soundtracks are not notable unless they have received serious coverage or praise (like, say, the Final Fantasy series). I haven't engaged on the talk page as I've been incredibly busy personally the past while - it's far easier for me to just revert with an edit summary (eg "soundtracks are nn") than it is to get engaged in a discussion where I simply have to explain policy. You mentioned on Bovine's talk page that WP:NOT covers against irrelevant lists of information (or something along those lines), and that the soundtracks are relevant. While I can kinda see your point, indiscriminately listing all the tracks in a game (with asterisks to denote explicit lyrics) is simply not encyclopedic. If you really want to include the songtrack, then either A) a separate article for the album that was released along with the game (like Halo) B) a section within the article that only lists songs from the released album (I can't think of an example off the top of my head, but I'll get back to you if I remember one). Those people really need to stop deleting the soundtracks especially off THPS 2.

Hi

Hello i noticed that you have had issues with falcon9x5 regarding the THPS series i have taken it upon myself to fight the good fight and could use your help in both editing the articles and proving to them that what they call consensus we call bullying. so far i have pushed him and his buddy Eik Corell to their limits. if there's anything they have taught me is that there's strength in numbers check out what i have done to the soundtrack section for THPS 4 and let me know what you think Magicianbink (talk) 06:32, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
