Tiyu Xilu Station
editHi there. Please be careful when reverting edits not to remove information. In the case of Tiyu Xilu Station you removed the coordinate data and other formatting that made the article text style guide compliant. Thanks. Philg88 ♦talk 05:06, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
- I'm so sorry to mess up 'undo' with 'revert'. I had added the changes that you did afterwards, just to notify you. Philg88 08adamsm (talk) 05:52, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
- @08adamsm: No harm done. I've reinserted the coords and fixed up the Chinese. Cheers, Philg88 ♦talk 05:59, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 26
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Coinage metals, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mercury. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Coinage metals
editHi 08adamsm! Did you mean to delete Uranium from the list of Dave Hamric's element coins? He doesn't sell them but he made me one, so I know for a fact that it exists. [1] Thanks.Xphobe (talk) 19:05, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
- Oops sorry about that, I did not know that existed, thanks for telling me! 08adamsm (talk) 01:08, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
Citation Overkill
editHi 08adamsm aka 31Gallium, thank you for this edit of the article Wuxi. However, giving six references for a 17-word sentence constitutes citation overkill. Could you remove four or five of them before someone else does? Love —LiliCharlie (talk) 14:19, 24 July 2016 (UTC)
- Hi LiliCharlie, I can't seem to find the error you were asking, can you point out where in the article is this citation overkill? Thank you! 08adamsm (talk) 15:15, 24 July 2016 (UTC)
- I was talking about the sentence “It might also come from a Chinese transcription of an indigenous Baiyue name honoring a bird deity.[2][3][4][5][6][7]” in the second paragraph of the “Etymology” section of the article Wuxi. This 17-word sentence is followed by six consecutive references (“[2][3][4][5][6][7]”). Love —LiliCharlie (talk) 15:32, 24 July 2016 (UTC)
