Hello, I'm Oshwah. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to List of surviving veterans of the Spanish Civil War because they seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 01:34, 22 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please refrain from making test edits to Wikipedia pages, such as the one you made with this edit to Raine Spencer, Countess Spencer, even if you intend to fix them later. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Donner60 (talk) 02:35, 22 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

::The reason I reverted your edits as "destructive" is because they did, in fact, mess up the image of Barbara Cartland (see this diff). However, you appear to have worked it out. Cheers. Happy editing. Quis separabit? 02:37, 22 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm CAPTAIN RAJU. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Anne Fulwood— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.   Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Good Morning Australia (1981–92). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges.   Hello, I'm Sophoife. I wanted to let you know that I reverted many of the changes you made to the page Ken Sutcliffe for a number of reasons: over-complicating the page, spelling, grammar, and unsubstantiated information. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Sophoife (talk) 00:44, 3 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Edit summaries

edit

I have noticed that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). I appreciate that you're trying to provide more recent info, that's great. If you do change again, please refer to a citation. Also at the moment the lead is balanced with the body and the lead reflects and summarises what's in the body. If you make changes to the lead please consider how the body may need to be changed too. Happy editing! Clare. (talk) 12:58, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Sheila Kennelly, you may be blocked from editing. Oddbodz - (Talk) (Contribs) 18:16, 25 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please make sure to provide reliable sources and explain edits in the comments. Per WP:CITE, WP:RS RSTech1 (talk) 09:32, 3 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Babymissfortune. An edit you recently made to Isaac Nichols seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Babymissfortune 02:26, 7 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Riverstage. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks!   Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to A Country Practice, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it.

The "show preview" button is right next to the "save page" button and below the edit summary field.

It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. ... richi (hello) 10:39, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
